VENUE COORDINATOR VS. WEDDING PLANNER
“If my venue has an on-site coordinator; Do I need to hire a wedding planner!”
The venue coordinator works for the venue and handles logistics specific to the venue.
They do not work for the couple. They manage venue related aspects like setup, catering, and adherence to venue policies. They are limited to the venue not the entire wedding process.
As your wedding planner I oversee all aspects of the wedding, from initial planning to the send-off. I work closely with the couple to understand their vision and ensure a unique and personalized experience. I handle vendor selection, contract negotiation, and communicate with the onsite venue coordinator. I will anticipate potential issues and have solutions ready, allowing couples to relax and take in the day. Prior to the wedding day I will handle the time-consuming tasks of planning, so couples can enjoy their engagement.
Destination wedding planner, in addition to the above I will venue scout for you as I have extensive knowledge of various locations that will match your vision, guests count, and budget.
I can handle guest inquires, provide information about travel and accommodations, and manage RSVPs. I will create a timeline for the wedding day and the entire planning process.
I will anticipate potential issues like weather changes and have a backup plan in place.
A destination wedding planner is crucial asset for couples planning a wedding away from home, ensuring a seamless and memorable celebration.

Wedding Portfolio Use:
Author: Kimberly Carlisle
Many times, a wedding planner will use your photos for promotional or marketing purposes, or more specifically, as part of their portfolio or advertising materials, including a website, social media, or other publications. Many photographers and couples agree to a photo release as part of the contract, granting permission to use the photos for specific purposes. This clause can vary in scope, it is important to understand what you are agreeing to and for how long.
